Happy Birthday, Blog

"Don't tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass."

Happy birthday, Little Pieces of Light.  It's been one year since I first posted some blurry photos of my beloved first apartment in Paris, a cosy little 1-bedroom in the 15e arrondissement.  Thank you for letting me reach out to the world and inside to my own self during this past year.  You have been my diary and my hashish, a source of inspiration and a creative outlet.  Thank you for opening my eyes to Paris, Buenos Aires, Vancouver, and the world, and for connecting me with all of the wonderful people I've met over the past year.  It's been a great journey so far and I look forward to sharing all my new adventures with you.

  16. Unfortunately, all I'll be having tonight is soup and meds. :*( Alas I've been struck by this awful winter bug (more on my current state in a forthcoming post) and am banished to the bed for this weekend! But cake is definitely the first thing I'll have once I get better. You always have great food recommendations. :)

  17. Aww thank you so much. It really means a lot to me when people like you say such touching things. I've been following your journey all this time too, and how strange that we have never met in person! At least not yet!

  18. Wow, you are a blog master indeed! I am a super amateur compared to you. No wonder your blog is so clean and functional with awesome designs; you've been running it for some time now! Well, all I can say is that I can only hope mine will be as organised and streamlined and pretty as yours in 7 years' time as yours is today! Kudos to you!

  21. Haha yes :) Ahw, you're so sweet. Thank you. I'm so happy that I've met you! It feels like I've known you for so long even though we've just met in person one (!) time! We have to change that once you get better ;)
