Hugo & Victor Macarons

I woke up at 6am this morning and spent the entire day running around the city non-stop.  Between errands, doctor's appointments, and several apartment visits, I somehow managed to get in about 3 hours of work.  After my last appointment and a very long day, I decided to stop by Hugo & Victor on Boulevard Raspail and pick up these macarons as a treat.  Alas, they didn't have pistache tonight (my favourite macaron flavour!), so instead I tried their thé earl grey / chocolat, which was absolutely divine!  It's small gems like this that make a long, difficult day melt away...

  2. Ah! I actually didn't have tea with me! But VERY good idea for next time :) I know. I'm spoiling myself rotten just because it's grey & cold outside and I don't have an apartment yet. LMAO

  3. Ahh, Hugo & Victor! My favourites :) I really need to go there soon, I haven't been there since I returned. It's good to hear that someone else is burying there face in pastries as well because of the weather and apartment problems ;)

  13. I was just researching where I could find alfajores in Paris! I think I find the place - it's an Argentinian épicérie in St-Germain:

  22. Isn't that Lindt's business partner? Lindt stuff always say "Lindt and Sprüngli" on it.
