Milion is one of my two most favourite cocktail bars in Buenos Aires. Tucked away inside a courtyard on the second floor within the upscale neighbourhood of Recoleta, this cocktail bar is elegant, stylish, and super talented in the art of cocktails. Raphael and I went for a visit during happy hour (when cocktails were 2 for 1!) and loved every single one of the 5 cocktails that we ordered. (The bartender was actually so nice; he gave us a free cocktail in the end! Usually that only happens when I'm alone - or maybe when Raphael is alone, if the bartender is a girl - but when it happens to couple, that just means the bartender is too wonderful for words!) My favourite was the cosmopolitan which the bartender made with a third mystery liquor - it was simply exquisite.

ReplyDeleteMy latest favourite is Pouring Ribbons (I wrote about them here: http://www.indulgingmywanderlust.com/2012/12/weekend-recap.html ). I also really like Little Branch, PDT, Lovers of Today.. Seriously quality cocktails are my biggest weakness and I could go on and on and on. When you visit next we MUST do a cocktail crawl!

ReplyDeleteA montpellier nous avons le Papadoble si jamais tu fais un saut dans le coin il faut que tu passes par là ! Le barman a été élu meilleur barman au monde il me semble lors du dernier championnat bref vraiment un AS ! Ils ont un website aussi si tu veux jeter un oeil avec leur carte de cocktail qui sont a tomber :)

Oooh, je n'ai jamais visité Montpellier, mais je voudrais bien le faire ! Peut-être ce printemps car j'ai un projet dans le sud de France. En tout cas, merci beaucoup pour tes recommandations ; je vais les noter, en particulier si tu dis que le barman est le meilleur au monde ! :)

Thank you! Ting, I just checked out your blog - it's so adorable! I love the concept and the fact that you two do it together. (Btw, I also lived in Singapore before - what a great city to come from.)
