Still slowly recovering from a bit of a complicated wisdom teeth surgery but anyhow managed to take this shot of the Eiffel Tower at night quite recently. Beacon of light amidst the dark skies. Much like my lovely friends who have been taking care of me lately - picking me up from the hospital and dropping me off at home, making sure that I have all the yogurts and ice creams that a girl could want, keeping me company even though all I do is sleep, reminding me to take my medicines on time, making me laugh by accident even though it hurts my face to do so!
These are the real Eiffel Towers in my life. ♥

that is the sweetest :) recover well!
ReplyDeleteHope the mouth feels better soon! My old dentist, in his infinite(?!) wisdom decided to pull out one of my wisdom teeth like a regular tooth. And dislocated my jaw. With the hypermobility syndrome I have it will never be totally fixed now, so it can be quite interesting chewing some things!
ReplyDeleteAwww...hope you feel better soon. I love the quote: "These are the real Eiffel Towers in my life." Nice pic too. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh My. Lots and lots of ice cream to you! Big healing Hug! Love, Connie*
ReplyDeleteAhh, I feel your pain. Years ago, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out in a single dental visit. One wisdom tooth was impacted and was tough to remove. I ended up with one side of my face swollen for weeks. What can I say? Seemed like a good idea at the time. On the plus side, I got loads of rest. Wishing you a very speedy recovery! Your friend's sound like a bunch of Sweethearts!
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet. I'm happy you're recovering slowly but steady. Let me know if I could do anything for you :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Carin! I'm really hoping I'll be 100% better before this Saturday's dinner.
ReplyDeleteThanks Oui! :)
ReplyDeleteAhhh that was exactly my problem. I had all 4 taken out but the bottom ones were already impacted, and they actually ended up having to take off an extra tooth on the right-hand side. My right jaw is so swollen. :*(
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary Grace.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Betsy! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my god that is the most awful story ever!! WHAT on earth was he thinking?! Did you get out your other wisdom teeth in a more humane way?
ReplyDeleteThanks Connie!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too! Let me know if you need to reschedule, no worries :)
