I'm having a tough week with my various work projects so far (and a tough rest of the week ahead) but somehow, despite the non-stop exhaustion since Monday morning, I still have that sense of elation that you get from a wonderful weekend. :) As I mentioned, my sister and my best friend came to visit, and even though our schedule was packed and I ended the weekend feeling more tired than before it started, I had such a lovely time that I am still sparkling with happiness on this Tuesday night! (I'm sure that the gorgeous weather we've been having since Saturday is also playing a role.)
It's nearing midnight in my time zone, and I still have a few more things on my to do list before bedtime (including a couple of fun things for this blog), but for now, I'll leave you with the a photo of something that is as sparkly outside as I am feeling inside. This is a shot that I took late on Sunday evening when my sister insisted on seeing the Eiffel Tower glitter at night. And to go along with it, here's a great new cover of Soulja Boy's "Grammy" by Canadian indietronica band, Purity Ring, that I just discovered this evening!

Oooh, that is pretty and sparkly :o) I was reading a truly bizarre article today about some new super container ships they're building that would use 8 times as much steel as the Eiffel Tower, which lead me to imagine 8 of them all bundled together to make a super leaky ship... I need to get out more ;o)
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back here. Tiredness is always worth it when it involves great company. Good luck for the coming week though!
ReplyDeleteAs always - great music choice today!
That's a pretty clear night shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It would've been even clearer if I had my tripod
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the music! They have a North American tour right now - you should check them out. I'm super bummed out that they're not coming to Europe.
ReplyDeleteLOL that actually made me chuckle! :)
