This is what I submitted for the electronic love letter contest that the Mairie de Paris is running across Paris for Valentine's Day. (Yes, with my name blurred out. :) ) Today is the last day for entries if you want a chance at having the City of Lights help you make your affection known to the one you adore. The Mairie de Paris will pick their favourite modern-day love messages to display across 170 panels across Paris this Thursday; winners will find out whether theirs are chosen later this week!
I don't know if my message will make the final cut, but it was a fun little exercise to try to think of something short, unique, and meaningful to write down. At the end of the day, no one really needs to declare their love on electronic boards across a capital, but who wouldn't love to walk around reading tiny terms of endearment written just for them in the most romantic city in the world? ♥
