I finally got myself a new bottle of my signature perfume, La Chasse aux Papillons from L'Artisan Parfumeur, which has a shop right around the corner from my apartment on rue des Francs Bourgeois in the Marais. As I've written before, L'Artisan Parfumeur is my favourite parfumerie in Paris, and makes artisanal perfumes that take their inspiration from Mother Nature. Other favourite scents of mine include Premier Figuier and Poivre Piquant - but "Chasing Butterflies" is what makes me feel dreamiest, most inspired, most happy...
Good, a girl should treat herself once in a while! I love L'Artisan Parfumeur as well, they have wonderful fragrances and they aren't too strong--know what I mean?

Such a funny coincidence that this same perfume was mentioned in the book "Me Before You" written by Jojo Moyes. The book is an unconventional love story. It is a very good book. The writer talked about the L'Artisan Parfumeur Shop in Paris. This is great treat for yourself.

ReplyDeleteAh, I've never heard of this book or the author! I'll look it up one day. It's rare that L'Artisan Parfumeur is ever mentioned in a book. I discovered it only 5 years ago myself and love their scents.
