This weekend, I went to the beautiful and exquisite Merci boutique and canteen with an equally beautiful and exquisite friend. The airy surroundings, beautiful pieces, delicious food, and wonderful company were exactly the food for the soul that I needed. Sometimes the universe brings to you the kind of outside world that your inside world needs, and you end up at exactly the kind of place that your soul is calling for. So thank you, universe.
And thank you - merci - to everyone for your kind messages of love and support. You are the positive energy that this world needs more of.

ReplyDeleteFantastic! Btw, you should know that there are three eateries at Merci: the Cinema Cafe, the Used Book Room, and the Cantine (which is where I ate in these photos). The Cantine is the one that serves this risotto :)
